Eric Hillmer holds a Master’s Degree in Design from the Royal College of Art in London, England and a diploma in Industrial Design from the Art College in Toronto.  He has worked as a product designer for several world-class firms – Bell Northern Research, Trane, CAE, Loblaws, Johnson Controls and Mitel.  Eric holds several design patents in his name mainly for technology related products.  

After several years as a corporate designer Eric joined Hetherington Welch as an associate designer where he helped build the practice and maintain excellent relationships with a variety of clients.  Eric loves design and motivating others to learn and understand the design process and its benefits to business and society as a whole.
