Husam has managed projects in, systems implementation, organizational restructuring, maintenance best practices and benchmarking, mergers and acquisitions, organizational design, product launches, quality management, aircraft heavy maintenance, and power generation equipment overhauls. 

Husam is the president and founder of a Strategic Management and Project Management Consulting firm, and is a regular speaker at events for the PMI and other professional institutions in Canada and the globally.

He has a BSc in Engineering from Leeds University (UK), and an MBA from City University, London (UK).  He is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC), a Project Management Professional (PMP), a Chartered Engineer (UK), a Member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (UK), and a Member of the Royal Aeronautical Society (UK).
