Computer and Network Support Technician

Kenneth Baker - BASc, MBA, MA, P.Eng., MSc

My educational qualifications are MSC (Computer Science), York University (in progress), MA (Adult Education), Central Michigan University, 1994, MBA (Personnel, Finance), York University, 1978, BASc. (Electrical Engineering), University of Waterloo, 1974.

I have worked at Humber College since 1983. I teach in the Computer Engineering Technology program, and Computer and Network Support Technician program. Since joining the college, I have also been Program Coordinator of several Technology programs as well as Chairman for these programs for three years.

Prior to this, I worked for IBM as a manufacturing engineer and as a software developer for seven years. I also worked for NorTel for two years as a project manager of new products.

My interests lay in the Linux operating system and in formal methods of Object Oriented Programming.
