Interior Design - Bachelor of Applied Arts

Marcin Kedzior, M.Arch, BFA

Marcin is an artist, architectural designer, improv. musician, experimental dancer, teacher of architecture studios at the University of Toronto and part of the editorial board of the critical journal /Scapegoat/.  He has formally studied art and architecture design and theory in Venice, Padua, Paris, Brussels, Herstmonceux Castle, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Beijing, Kingston and Toronto.  Recently, his design work has been published in The Architectural Review, 2009, Architectural Record, 2008, FRAME, 2008, Dwell, 2008, AZURE, 2008 and Wallpaper*, 2008.  He was on the winning team for the Nathan Phillips Square Revitalization Competition which received the Canadian Architect Award, 2007 and the Award of Excellence - Toronto Urban Design Awards, 2007. With roots in Breakdance, his dance work articulates an alternative architectural plan, working with the refuse of a commercial city to find openings for new thought and action.
