The path Mardi has followed towards becoming an accomplished and innovative multidisciplinary designer has been a long and unexpected one, with many surprising curves and detours along the way. It’s taken him to almost all four corners of the world, and allowed him to gain experience in virtually every area of design.

He pursued and completed both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Industrial Design, and began a career that has touched on everything from photography and illustration to interior and exterior design to product and furniture design – and everything in between. He has finally found his niche in retail design environments and the exciting world of branding strategy.  

A firm believer in the value of sharing one’s knowledge and inspirations, Mardi has taught industrial design studios for the past 15+ years and has joined Humber’s Industrial Design faculty since 2006. He is professionally active as senior designer in Toronto based international retail design & branding consultant “Perennial Inc.” and has developed numerous retail environment solutions for many companies like Loblaw’s Inc, Home Depot, Aisle 43, Puma, Adidas, Swatch, Bosch, Kenzo and Versace through out his career.
