
Neal Prabhu, B.Tech (Arch. Sci.), M.Arch, OAA, MRAIC, ARIDO, IDC, LEED AP
Neal has received a Bachelor of Technology in Architectural Science (Ryerson University, Toronto) and a Master of Architecture with Distinction (Lawrence Technological University, Detroit) and acquired over 10 years experience in the fields of Architecture, Interior, Industrial and Graphic Design. In 2008 Neal joined the emerging practice of nkA (www.nkarchitect.ca) in Toronto. The award winning firm is rapidly receiving significant recognition for its broad project base and philanthropy through design. Together, the firm dispenses with the traditional conceit of self-serving architectural agendas, focusing instead on an unbiased approach fostering incisive and responsive solutions to present challenges faced within the built environment. Neal is currently a frequent guest architecture critic at Lawrence Technological University, adjunct faculty at Humber College and Vice Chairman on the Events Planning Committee for Habitat for Humanity Toronto. Neal has recently acquired LEED AP status.
nkA is currently participating in the exhibition "Big Enough" Which opens to the public on January 27th and runs until July 8th.
The installation "Metrics or Memories?" seeks to illustrate the potential qualitative returns should we choose to shift focus from the metrics of space to the optimization of spatial experience exploring the idea of what is 'Big Enough' in the context of city living.
