The Inside Scoop

What’s this “Articulation” I’ve been hearing about?

An Articulation Agreement is a formal transfer arrangement between Humber and another postsecondary institution such as a University or College that outlines:

  • how many of your academic credits from your Humber diploma program can be transferred directly toward a Degree upon graduation
  • what the minimum academic requirements are (for example, some agreements stipulate a minimum Grade Point Average, or GPA)
  • what year or semester of the Degree program you will get fast-tracked to
  • any other requirements or restrictions that apply

Are all Articulation Agreements the same?

No. In fact, each Articulation Agreement can be quite different depending on the program you are in, the Degree you want to get, and the institution we have the agreement with. That’s why you need to [consult the list above] to research the options available to you for your program.
