Grades Required for Admission

If available, Ontario high school grade 12 (including mid-term) marks will be used in the admissions process. If you are enrolled in grade 12 required subjects in the second semester (February to June), Grade 11 final marks will be used for the admissions process.

The grades listed below reflect the academic grades used for admissions for Fall 2006 . These grades should only be used as a guideline for Fall 2006 and Winter 2007. If the number of applications for a program should far exceed the number of seats available, the minimum grades as indicated below may not qualify an applicant for the admission process for Fall 2006 or Winter 2007.

In some cases your grades may be used to rank you for entry into our programs. For other programs, your grades may used to pre-rank your application and determine if you will move onto the next stage of the assessment. An average of your highest senior secondary school credits (2-5 courses) may be used in the process.

Please refer to our full-time calendar for further details regarding the specific non-academic requirements.

Humber will not give additional credit for University or University/College level high school courses. Applicants from the new curriculum (OSS), excluding Workplace Destination and Open Level, will be treated the same on the admission grid as those applicants completing Advanced Level high school courses.

Postgraduate Programs

The academic requirement for admission to a postgraduate program is a degree or college diploma. See our full-time calendar postgraduate.humber.ca for details regarding the specific non-academic requirements.
