This course is designed for students who have some basic knowledge of the Spanish language. Conversation topics cover plans, activities, situations in a store, bank, etc. The main grammar points introduced are direct, indirect, and double pronouns; demonstrative adjectives and pronouns; preterite; imperfect; reflexive constructions.
This course does not qualify for General Education credit.
Students can now choose to complete Spanish 1 & 2, 3 & 4 or 5 & 6 in the same semester. Classes will meet for six hours per week for 15 weeks. (Tues and Thurs evenings) This stream will allow students to complete the Spanish Language Certificate in one year instead of two if starting from Level 1.
If there are not enough students to run the courses in-class, students can complete the intensive program online.
For students interested in the intensive program, you do not need to register and pay for both classes at the same time. Students can register and pay for the second class when it begins.
