Our instructors are well versed in the OBC and have years of experience facilitating these courses.

Note: Advanced standing alternative and certificates for OBC detailed technical training courses will no longer be offered by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (MMAH) as of December 31, 2012.
Designers Requiring Building Code Identification Number (BCIN)
Detailed knowledge-based training courses will be offered with an exam, with a passing grade of 70 per cent at the end of each course. Students who successfully complete all five courses will receive a Certificate of Achievement from Humber College and will be prepared to write the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (MMAH) House and General Legal exams to receive their BCIN.
Designers with BCIN
For designers with BCIN who review and take responsibility for design activities and have been qualified to Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (MMAH) standards, you will now be required to maintain your building code knowledge through examination when building code version changes occur. Our courses provide preparation in advance of taking the MMAH examinations.
