Counsellors can provide a variety of in-class psycho-educational presentations and workshops to the Humber and Guelph Humber community.
Faculty or administration may select from the following list of workshops:
* Workshops with an asterisk require 2 periods, and have a $6.00 per person fee for materials.
Counselling Services asks for at minimum of 3 weeks advance notice to assist in our planning. Requests will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis. Resources may dictate the numbers of requests that can be filled.
Our experience with workshop presentations has been that students are more receptive to the information we provide if it meets their learning needs. We, therefore, recommend that you facilitate a discussion with your students regarding their needs prior to making the request.
