One aspect of architectural/civil work is the presentation drawing, done in varied formats. Presentations can be made digitally or in hardcopy, on posters, with brochures, or in presentation software such as PowerPoint. This course will give students basic knowledge of the common software platforms used to create presentation drawings including: 3dsMax, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and PowerPoint. Each type of software will be explored for how it can contribute to final presentations with maximum effect. Students will put this all together in the production of their own portfolio, in digital format, to be used for future employment purposes.
