In this course, students learn about accounting matters that will impact their practice as a court and tribunal agent. The objective is that they will become well equipped to identify accounting issues, analyze them, and make informed business decisions while they comply with the Law Society of Upper Canada's requirements for books and records to be maintained in a legal services practice. This course develops an overview of the accounting cycle and includes examination of several topics of specific interest to those who intend to work as a paralegal.
