Building on the concepts covered in FUND 504, this advanced course provides students with the opportunity to organize and execute a fundraising event for an external not-for-profit organization. Based on the organization s objectives for the event, students design and execute a fundraising event. The event will include one or more fundraising activities to raise money for the organization, incorporating the appropriate tactics to reach the objective(s). Documentation of this fundraising experience is a component of the course grade as will reaching the fundraising target and explicit feedback from the selected not-for-profit organization client.
