Advanced Seminar in International Development Part 2

Course Code

IDS 4520

Academic Year

2016-2017

This second part of the capstone course will build on the work in IDS 4500 offered in semester 7. It will require students to apply the knowledge and skills acquired through their earlier course work and work placement to an integrated and interdisciplinary analysis of the field of international development. Students will reflect on their individual work placement within the context of their course work, analyze the ethical implication of development work in theory and practice, and engage in a group project that synthesizes the knowledge and skills developed throughout the program.
