This course gives students a firm foundation in the principles of animation through the practice of classical animation techniques. Students explore the art of creating convincing movement through good timing, spacing, and drawing. Students develop a strong knowledge of the basics, and an invaluable appreciation for observational techniques and the art of planning. This course introduces students to the methods used daily by animators to act and bring characters to life through sequential images.
