In this course you will learn theoretical and practical maintenance practices that surround mechanical, electrical and electronic devices in an automated system. Some of the major topics covered are: safety as it relates to maintenance, typical maintenance department structures, asset care strategies, computerized maintenance management software, formal problem solving, troubleshooting practices and maintenance and repair techniques. Additional topics include equipment performance measurement, inventory control and design for maintenance.
