Course Description
This course provides an overview of the interrelationship between branding and interactive media. Students will explore the use of promotional websites, Internet display advertising, and rich media content in building an organization brand identity. Students will work on teams to create an interactive site that re-imagines an actual brand. Students will also work on teams to deconstruct and analyze a specific digital branding effort. Assigned readings and guest presentations will form a major part of this course. Students will maintain an individual learning journal that documents their reflections on the reading they complete and guest presentations they participate in.
