This course examines the key components of a business plan with emphasis on entrepreneurship. Using a practical approach, students will conduct a feasibility analysis by identifying a new business concept, designing the products/services, identifying a target market and selecting a location. Upon completion of the feasibility analysis, students will develop marketing, operations and financial plans. Franchising and buying an existing business will be examined and compared with starting a new business.
