This course is required for students in the Registered Practical Nurse, Paramedic, Funeral Services Education, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Physiotherapy Assistant/Occupational Therapy Assistant programs in the School of Health Sciences. It is designed as an introduction to the human body for those with limited background in human biology. The structure and function of the human body will be explored with a focus on the components of the major body systems. This course will provide a background which will enable the student to master basic concepts in health and disease.
