Course Description
This course will study the procedures involved in provincial offence matters in Ontario. Particular emphasis is given to the Provincial Offences Act and the Highway Traffic Act. The course is designed to familiarize students with the legal issues relating to provincial offences and the procedures by which they are to be resolved. The course also examines elements and defences to charges under the Highway Traffic Act, as well as the procedure for defending a charge.
