Course Description
This course introduces the student to the study of pathophysiology. An integrated and systemic approach will be taken to provide the student with the background concepts to understand pathophysiology. Basic pathophysiological concepts and terminology, and pathophysiology of the skeletal, muscular, nervous and endocrine systems will be covered. It is expected that the student will bring to this course a competent background in human anatomy and physiology.
