Course Description
This course will prepare students to explore the rapidly expanding industry of medical spas. Focused on medical practices, the course examines the benefits, features, contra-indications and risks of various laser equipment, microdermabrasion and light therapies. Medical esthetic theories such as Thermage, Fraxel and Vasculite are studied, as are injectable therapies such as Botox, Restylane, Perlane, Juvederm and collagen.
