This course will provide students with the opportunity to perform, under faculty supervision, the practical aspects of all BSPA courses including client services, sterilization and sanitization and front-line administrative duties. Manicures, pedicures, mini-facials, facials and eyelash and eyebrow tinting are the focus. Body treatments and medical procedures will be performed and practiced to ensure proficiency of skills so that students may gain employment in entry-level positions. Professional attitude, behavior, client care and cleanliness are stressed, as well as the correct use of spa equipment and supplies. A strong emphasis on timeliness of services exists in order to ensure students are capable of proceeding to the workforce.
