This course covers contemporary research methods used to investigate business and marketing issues. Students are introduced to research methods, practices, processes and tools that assist in business and marketing decision making. Students learn how to define business
problems/opportunities and state them in terms of clear and concise research objectives. They also develop a research proposal and complete a major primary research project to solve a business problem. Information technology and software are used extensively in the gathering, analysis and reporting of data.
