Students examine cell organization and component function. Techniques used to study cell physiology and function will be actively explored through virtual laboratory experiences. Topics include a comparison of prokaryotic cells, animal cells and plant cells including their direct applications to the biotechnology industry. Students will enhance this theory-based education with virtual laboratory experiences.
