In this course the student will learn the uses of a clinical protocol, its structure and components, and the kinds and sources of information required for its production. Students will gain experience in following guidelines for critical appraisal of articles as well as approval methods of publication. The student will also learn the characteristics of Case Report Forms, Investigator's Brochure and Clinical Report. Additionally, Students will learn the importance of accuracy, reliability, types and components of documentations, and confidentiality as well as compliance with guidelines in clinical document preparation.
