This course is offered face-to-face in a laboratory setting. It is the laboratory component generally required for a fundamental first-year anatomy and physiology course. This course provides an introduction to the structure and function of the human body. It begins with an orientation to the body and then covers the functions of a generalized cell. The focus is on the healthy functioning of the body and consideration of how each system contributes to overall health and the maintenance of homeostasis.
