Professional Writing Skills for Radio builds on the fundamentals of communications laid down in Communications 211. Students will complete their study of grammar as they write various assignments that explore media from print to radio, Internet, television, and film. Students will learn to look deeply into various aspects of the media and write about them in an interesting, professional manner.
Although COMM 311 is not intended as a media writing course as such, some assignments may be written not only about the media, but as if for certain media as well.
