The Cruise Industry

The cruise industry is one of the fastest growing segments of the travel industry worldwide. The course introduces students to the various products, suppliers and trends of the cruise industry, as well as its importance and economic impact in the global tourism market. Students examine various cruise line resources and the strategies to effectively sell and market cruising using information from Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA), tour operators and individual cruise lines. This course includes the Associate Cruise Program Certification (ACP) by CLIA.
