Course Description
This course is a continuation of drafting basics. Manual drafting standards, drawing details and working drawing conventions for custom case goods are the primary focus. These exercises go beyond drafting shapes and progress to the production of simple furniture items. Students are introduced to the conventions of plan production, sections and details. Through introduction of theory and practical drafting exercises, they will explore the complexities of hand-drafted furniture and millwork drawings and this experience integrates with electronically produced working drawings.
