Students learn about a variety of materials and finishes that are commonly used in interior decorating including floor, wall and ceiling finishes. This course consisting of lectures and assignments exposes students to a variety of materials and their various applications, costs, clean ability, durability and flammability along with their impact on the environment. Assignments for this course are frequently team oriented as well as research focused and class presentation must be verbally and graphically defended.
