Course Description
This lecture and studio course focuses on client based decorating for today's environment for developing complex decorating projects. The projects escalate in scale and complexity building upon the previous semester's comprehension, expanding .the knowledge and application of anthropometrics, principles and elements of design, ergonomics, colour theory as well as a comprehension of basic building code and disability issues.
Students will be required to research, discuss and explore creative ideas in both group and team work and in class participation both verbal and in sketch format. Students will develop their ideas through sketch drawings and electronically produced drafting and detailing using appropriate working drawing conventions including the introduction of three dimensional model making.
