Digital Audio

Students examine the theoretical concepts and practical processes required to combine audio into multimedia, desktop video and web-based productions. This course also covers digital audio standards and compression techniques for a variety of media. In addition, students study the steps to produce, arrange and edit loop-based music and sound effects used for audio, multimedia and web-based projects. Students will also have the opportunity to learn voice-over recording and editing techniques.
