Direct Patient Contact Clinical Practice 3

This final direct patient contact clinical practice prepares students to make the transition from student to TCM practitioner. Students use knowledge, skills and judgement to demonstrate readiness to enter the TCM profession. During this clinical practice session, students will make TCM diagnoses and apply the full scope of TCM treatments including acupuncture and herbal medicine in the areas of TCM internal medicine, external medicine, gynecology and pediatrics. At all times, students are supervised by the clinical instructors and practice safely; competently; and within legal, regulatory, ethical and professional frameworks of practice.
