E-Portfolio 2

The E-Portfolio 2 course continues the process of documenting students' academic stories in multi-media format with an increased measure of visual literacy. In a supported environment, students refine their e-portfolios into polished products to showcase their preparedness for internships in communications. Students develop a professional statement to indicate their preparedness for internship, present artifacts to provide evidence of those claims, and annotations on the artifacts to provide context and explanation. Creative inquiry groups, under the guidance of the instructor, support participants through presentation practice, conversation and more practice. Students are challenged to examine their failures as well as their successes in order to continuously learn about their learning and to make connections across all studies including core, elective and breadth classes, and extra-curricular experiences.
