This course examines the early childhood educator as a professional who engages in personal and professional development, self-advocacy and reflective practice, while collaborating in a team environment. The roles and responsibilities of both the individual and team will be highlighted. The critical importance of on-going professional development for managing this complex role in a changing society will be addressed.
