This course leads students through a further investigation of the cohesive relationship between typographic design, imagery and communication - specifically in book design. It concentrates on the development of various types of grids and how they give both structure and freedom to the designer. Traditional (and non-traditional) grids are examined, created, and skills practised through various applications and a unique Book set design system.
