Field Placement 5

Course Code

CYC 3055

Academic Year

2016-2017

Students work with the CYC Field Placement Co-ordinator to select a Field Project requiring their volunteer work with a community agency, school, shelter, or organization supporting children and youth, or from a selection of agency governance or research projects involving children, youth or families. Students may choose to select Field Projects that prepare them for their summer Internship experience.
Students have input into the type, location and hours required for this project; however, they must complete a minimum of 175 successful Field Project hours prior to entering Semester 7. NOTE: Students entering the BCYC program with advanced standing from a CYW three-year diploma are not required to complete these project hours.
