Field Seminar 2

Field placement gives students an opportunity to have practical learning experiences that involve them working with professionals already employed working with children and families with a component of special needs.  Students have an opportunity to learn about the many professionals involved in supporting children with special needs and their families.  Students also have the opportunity to apply what they are learning in their academic courses to real time situations.  This can be seen in planning adaptive curriculum, writing observations, implementing assessments, participating in inter-professional meetings.
