Course Description
The understanding and control of light is essential in the development of all photographic techniques. Students use and maintain studio lighting equipment and produce assignments demonstrating their competence in production situations. The importance of safety and an elementary knowledge of electricity are required to handle the equipment. Students will be introduced to the differences in commercial lighting techniques and a comprehensive understanding of how light affects a variety of materials.
