Course Description

The goodwill that results from effective interactive communication is vital to the success of the non-profit sector. Examine the role and practice of marketing, media relations and communication for the Canadian fundraising sector. Topics include: market identification, segmentation and targeting, the marketing mix, and the allocation of resources. Explore donor motivations, strategies and tactics for specific audiences. Graduates will be ready to develop appropriate proactive and reactive communication strategies with the media.
