Course Description

The Donor Relationship Management Basic and Advanced courses will address prospect research development from identification to post-investment stewardship. This will include primary, secondary and tertiary prospect constituent development. Students will be able to effectively plan, implement and evaluate key factors of successful prospect and donor development.

The first part of Donor Relationship Management will address prospect research development as a central component of effective, integrated fund development. It will explore the public opportunities and resources for information and fact finding to support and advance internal and external prospect research identification and qualification to institutional priorities. This will include gathering, organizing, qualifying, developing and implementing information in a strategic manner while following the rights of donors, accountability and privacy regulations.
