Course Description
Prepare for a career in fundraising by examining current trends and issues in fundraising as they relate to career opportunities open to graduates. Research and analyze career options and interests and conduct an in-depth employment search using multiple sources. Explore how to develop a professional resumé, covering letter and portfolio and prepare for employment interviews, including role-playing to practice interview skills. Discuss the importance of a professional image and practice appropriate business behaviour, dress and attitude. Emphasis will be on practical skills.
