The goodwill that results from effective interactive communication is vital to the success of the non-profit sector. Students will examine the role and practice of marketing, media relations and communication for Canadian fundraising and volunteer management. Topics include market identification, segmentation and targeting, diversity, the marketing mix, and the allocation of resources. Students will study and apply motivation strategies and tactics for specific audiences. Media relations training will prepare students to develop appropriate proactive and reactive communication with the media. Presentations training will help students communicate.
