Course Description

This course provides students with a background in the anatomy and physiology of the human body. Basic anatomical terminology, introduction to histology, the structures and normal physiological functions of the skeletal, muscular, nervous, cardiovascular and respiratory systems are covered. An overview of the cardiovascular, digestive, urinary and reproductive systems is presented to further the students’ transition into the allied health fields.
