Course Description
Good typography is vital to effective design. This course will introduce students to the vocabulary of the practice of typography, the classifications of type families, the historic evolution of type, type selection, spacing, and the manipulation of the letterform. An appreciation for typography will be encouraged through theory and hands-on rendering.
