In this course, students are introduced to concepts of total health and wellness. The course presents the dimensions and determinants of health and wellness, and encourages students towards adopting healthy lifestyle choices. Through group discussion, self-reflection, research and investigation into community resources, students develop efficacy in evaluating and utilizing health information. Topics such as stress management, disease management, alcohol, tobacco and drug use, and living in a healthy environment are discussed.
