This course introduces the clinical application of Chinese herbal medicines as they are used in formulas. It provides opportunity for students to learn the knowledge of herbal formulating strategies, with reference to the composition, functions and classification of classical formulas; formula combinations, compatibility and modifications according to the clinical situations; and dosage forms & methods of administration.
