In this course, students learn to apply knowledge of the properties and functions of TCM herbs in treatment planning. Through lectures and laboratory studies, students will learn the TCM herbology concepts of properties, flavours, and toxicity in relation to the clinical applications of each herb. The course also introduces herb-herb interaction and compatibility and the most common combination.
